Project Description

Goal of the project is to simulate the walk of an ant, using the robot simulator SIMMA. The ant should be able to walk a straight line towards a specified location. At first the biomechanical prerequisites of the ants gait needs to be established. SIMMA provides methods to implement a neuronal network, controlling the walking mechanisms of the ant. Through evolution of this neuronal network the ant is supposed to learn a straight walk on its own.
